Top Ten Must Do's
- Beach Trail Walk with a Bear Coast Coffee. Grab some coffee and a treat at Bear Coast across from the Pier and walk miles north or south along the Pacific Ocean on San Clemente's famous (dog-friendly) beach trail.
- Boogie Boarding is best at T Street (walk south from the pier until you see a pedestrian bridge over train tracks). You can also drive (339 W Paseo De Cristobal, San Clemente, CA 92672).
- Fisherman's Sunset Happy Hour and the San Clemente Pier
- Use our free bikes to ride to Dana Point down Pacific Coast Highway on a beautiful and safe bike trail (barricaded off from traffic). To access, ride down Avenida Del Mar to pier, cross the tracks and go right (north). Follow beach trail to North Beach, go beyond the train station and enter the bike path just beyond the bike shop. Please be sure to sign our liability waiver.
- Casa Romanica is the historical home and gardens of the founder of San Clemente, Ole Hanson. Ocean views, historic photos and a butterfly exhibit. $5 but well worth it.
- Dana Point Baby Beach and Stand-up Paddle Boarding. Baby beach is a protected cove with beautiful clean sand inside dana point harbor. It's also a great place to rent SUP and kayaks to tour the harbor. https://westwindsailing.com/ Parking can be tough so go early.
- San Clemente Farmer's market every Sunday is just a 7 minute walk up Avenida Del Mar (located in the library parking lot during covid). Yummy local goodies of all kinds.
- San Clemente Art Fair is on the First Saturday of each month at 242 Avenida Del Mar.
- South OC Cars and Coffee - See some amazing privately owned collectibles and daily drivers that will blow your mind. Every Saturday from 9am to 11am at Outlets at San Clemente · 101 W Avenida Vista Hermosa
Parks, Yoga and Pickleball
- Linda Lane Park is a short walk from both buildings. It is great for kids, families and dogs with a grassy knoll, play structure and ocean view. 400 Linda Lane, San Clemente, CA 92672

- Tide Pools! There are some at low tide at Trestles (5-mile round trip beach walk south) but also by car in Laguna (https://www.visitlagunabeach.com/things-to-do/beaches/tide-pools/)
- Amazing Treasure Island Park in Laguna - Public park in front of a world-class Montage resort. Here is the address. Coast Highway & Wesley Drive Laguna Beach, Ca 92651 You can generally find parking on Wesley Dr.
- Sunset at Tressels - Park near Carls Jr and walk down to a beautiful and remote beach and watch pro surfers. Search "Trestles Beach Trailhead"
- Beach Fire near the Pier. There are 6 concrete fire pits available first come/first serve basis. Firewood is available at Ralphs on El Camino Real.
